Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: March 28, 2026

We want you to feel confident using SheetZapi. This policy explains exactly what happens when you cancel, and when we’ll issue a refund. No ambiguity.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time. No need to email us or jump through hoops. Just go to Account → Billing → Unsubscribe. Your account will be immediately downgraded to the Free plan. You retain access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period.

What You Lose on Cancellation

When your paid period ends after cancellation, you will lose access to:

  • Aggregation endpoints (sum, count, min, max, mean)
  • Webhook notifications
  • CORS configuration per sheet
  • IP allowlisting
  • Analytics and request logs (logs remain visible until the period ends, then are purged)
  • Any sheets over the Free plan sheet limit will be deactivated (not deleted)

Your data and sheet configurations are preserved if you re-subscribe.

Refunds We Always Grant

We’ll always issue a full refund in these situations. Just email us:

  • Charged for a month you meant to cancel: if you forgot to cancel and were charged for the new billing period, and you contact us within a few days and haven’t used the service that month, we’ll refund you in full.
  • Forgot to cancel 1–2 months ago with no usage: if you stopped using SheetZapi but forgot to cancel, and your logs show no API activity during those months, we’ll refund the unused months.

Partial Refunds & Credits

We handle these situations case-by-case and will work with you fairly:

  • Upgraded recently and didn’t use extra features: if you upgraded to a higher plan but didn’t end up using the additional features, contact us and we may issue a prorated credit toward a future billing period.
  • Extended downtime or service outage: if SheetZapi experiences significant unplanned downtime that materially impacts your usage, we will issue a service credit proportional to the outage duration.

We Do Not Offer Refunds For

  • Partial months used: if you used the service during the billing period, even briefly, we won’t refund that month
  • Annual plans mid-cycle: if we introduce annual billing in the future, mid-cycle cancellations will not be refunded unless otherwise stated in the annual plan terms
  • Downgrades during a billing period: switching to a lower plan takes effect at the next renewal, not mid-cycle

How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Refund Request” and include your account email and a brief description of the situation. We aim to respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5–10 business days depending on your payment method.
